  1. El Gouna Int'l Half-Marathon 2017
    In Feb. 2017, GTNI Nursing students & Academic staff considered it their responsibility to partner with Cairo Runners to provide 5 emergency stations for the runners.
  2. Red Sea Medical Convoy 2016
    Well done to the GTNI NU 201 students and faculty that volunteered their time to collaborate with the Rotary Club of Red Sea – El Gouna who organized the second medical convoy for the people of Hurghada which was held on Friday 19th February 2016. The students set up health assessment stations to record patient’s details and medical history. They also carried out vital signs tests, blood pressure, and height and weight, body mass index calculation and provided health education to clients. It was a great day serving the local community of Hurghada and assisting them in meeting their health needs!
  3. Nurses Day 2016
    On 14th May 2016 the GTNI held its annual International Nurses Day celebration. The theme was “Nurses: A Force for Change: Improving Health Systems’ Resilience”. This year's keynote speaker was Dr. Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud, Head of Nursing Syndicate who discussed new policy developments in nursing and in Technical Diploma nurse education in Egypt. This year also saw the introduction of the first GTNI interactive academic poster tour and Nursing Research Forum.
  4. World Sepsis Day 2016
    The NU 202 senior critical care students conducted a sepsis awareness campaign in September 2016 within the GTNI. The students created posters using the updated sepsis guidelines and conducted interactive poster sessions with GTNI students and faculty during break times for a period of one week. Their main message was......"stop sepsis - save lives!"......
  5. Red Sea Medical Convoy 2015
    Well done to all of the NU 201 students and faculty that participated in a medical convoy on Friday 13th Feb 2015 with the Rotary Club of Red Sea and El Gouna. The GTNI team carried out health assessment and health promotion to over 150 people from the rural community in Safaga.
  6. Dr. Magdi Yacoub's Visit to GTNI 2011
    GTNI was honored with Dr. Magdi Yacoub's visit to its premises; the beginning of a useful partnership between GTNI and Aswan Heart Foundation.
